On Christmas Eve 1959, Charles Roy Clark, was killed by a single gunshot wound to his right temple. Police were baffled. Charles was beloved in his community. He taught Sunday school, was a scout troop leader, a great employee, and a loving father and husband. He seemed to have a perfect life. But did he? Police uncovered a dirty little secret. His wife Lois had sexual affairs with other men and had become pregnant by another man. Police arrested a man named Gene Hargrove, who had an affair with Lois Clark. The police claimed he killed Charles so he could be with Lois. The prosecutor thought he had an easy conviction. He was wrong.
