Cleon Jones joins Jay Horwitz to explain why he believes the 1969 Miracle Mets were the best team in franchise history, even if they weren’t the most talented. He remembers what made Gil Hodges such a remarkable manager and why he traveled to New York to celebrate Howie Rose. Cleon also shares the work he and his wife, Angela, continue to do in their hometown of Africatown, Alabama, from repairing neighbors’ homes to helping families put food on the table.
