What does it actually mean to live free?
In this special episode of The Grove Podcast, we’re inviting you into a powerful conversation from The October Grove with Shelley Giglio and Susan Robinson. Together, they unpack what it looks like to walk in the freedom Jesus has already given us, not as a feeling, but as a daily choice to surrender, trust, and stay tethered to Him.
Shelley shares part of her story of finding freedom as a teenager and how God used His kindness to redirect the course of her life. From there, the conversation goes deeper into surrendering our will, our preferences, the opinions of others, and the outcomes we’re trying so hard to control.
Because true freedom isn’t found in having everything figured out. It’s found in Jesus. It’s found in surrendering to Him, walking in obedience, renewing our minds with His Word, and allowing His truth to lead us.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” Galatians 5:1
We don’t have to carry the weight of our lives alone. We can open our hands, surrender what we cannot control, trust that God is writing a better story, and believe that He is still able to redeem what feels broken or impossible.
This conversation is an invitation to take a step of faith, renew your mind with truth, and discover the freedom that is already yours in Jesus.
