Gyöngyi Kovacs is professor at Hanken School of Economics and one of the founders of the Humlog institute in Helsinki, Finland. She has extensive experience and knowledge on Humanitarian logistics. She and her team are doing research on humanitarian logistics and are helping response organisations around the world become more efficient and effective.
Her research areas are humanitarian logistics & supply chain management, disaster relief, disaster management, and preparedness, development aid, sustainable supply chain management, industrial ecology, corporate responsibility, research approaches in logistics, and gender mainstreaming.
