Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. This week on the pod I chat with Stephanie Guyatt, owner and operator of Under One Sun, a group of artisans from all around the world who are overcoming poverty and restoring dignity through artistry. Beyond the incredible upcycled use of materials such as 55 gallon steel drums, broken glass tumbled smooth, paper, and scrap aluminum and copper, we also chat social justice, the 'white saviour' complex, and being part of a global and local community to restore dignity to all. Learn more at the links below + thanks for listening!
