One of the biggest improvements I've made in my brand over the past two years was taking better photos. Seriously I WISH I had a screengrab of my photos in the beginning (think a black and white photo of me closeup doing a headstand against the door in my tiny not cute west village apt with terrible lighting) lol these days I would never post that. In the beginning I didn't know any photographers or anything about photography at all.
