In this solo episode, I reflect on what's been on my mind related to the complexity of nuance of mental health, especially with online.

As someone who posts about both my personal and professional experiences with OCD and anxiety, I've noticed the pressure to reflect so many experiences in just a few posts. I talk about why one page or post can never capture the full experience of living with OCD and/or anxiety, the limitations of social media, and the importance of being able to validate and hold space for one person's experience without invalidating someone else's.

I also discuss my own journey with showing up online, my goal in making these darker, isolating experiences feel more digestible and incorporating humor without invalidating the real struggle.

This episode is more raw, as I also share my own doubts around showing up online and my goal in being able to show up despite internal or external judgment. I hope this is simply a reminder for us to stay curious, to hold space for nuance, and to support each other in knowing that these experiences are already so isolating. We don't have to understand someone's experience to hold space for it.
