Following the tragic death of her mother from cancer, Brianna Wing, RN, MSN, WHNP-BC, APNP (Mashpee Wampanoag), Wy'east Nursing Pathway; Assistant Director at Oregon Health and Science University, discovered her calling to enter a nursing career. The challenges she faced as a first-generation Native student provided Brianna with experience and skills that have allowed her to help other indigenous students on their path into the health professions.
