Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson have said from the start that Yellowjackets was partly inspired by Lord of the Flies, the tale of a bunch of young schoolboys stranded on an island after a plane crash, and how they managed. And now we have a brilliantly beautiful and disturbing new four-episode adaptation by the BBC (on Netflix in the U.S.), and so Kasi, Kara, and Jason are here to talk it through. Plus, we catch you up on some YJ news that’s happened since we last podcasted. For one thing, they’ve announced the final season will premiere on Friday, November 20! Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
