EPISODE #481 WILLY CHIN FROM BLACK CHINEY RETURNS

Black Chiney’s Willy Chin returns to the Entertainment Report Podcast for another lively conversation about Mighty Crown, Supa Dups, ’90s music, Toronto’s DJ scene and much more.

Willy Chin recaps Toronto Carnival weekend and shares his experience playing alongside Mighty Crown for the first time in Toronto. He also discusses Supa Dups coming out of retirement for all-vinyl sessions and producing six songs on Buju Banton’s new album.

From the songs of summer 2026 to how today’s music compares to the ’90s, Willy explores what makes music last and what it takes to maintain longevity as a DJ. He also highlights the diversity of Toronto’s DJs and what makes them stand out.

Willy rounds out the conversation by sharing his interest in playing his first Boiler Room set and recalling a wild experience DJing a silent party in Spain.
