Perraudin discusses the launch of a recent consultation on the subject, which is being undertaken on behalf of the UK and Swiss governments. He also outlines the motivations and obstacles for MDBs in using securitisation technology and how ratings agencies might reconsider their approach to rating this type of transaction.
