Last week, Ami and I were invited to speak at TEDxBismarck on the topic of managing a family and business when your family is the business. If you don't know what a TED Talk is; It is a conference bringing together visionaries and experts to discuss topics of interests within their industry. This was the first time both Ami and I were invited to speak together and of course, we flew with the entire family to North Dakota. We spoke about the keys to building a family while you work together and the importance of defining your specific roles in the family and the business. Everything we shared at the Talk, and even the information we divulged and dug deeper into in this podcast, can be applied to any business, ESPECIALLY family businesses across all industries.
