Saint Augustine as a Bible Interpreter

Saint Augustine lacked the theological and exegetical training of the Greek Fathers. Instead he created his own method, rules, and guidelines for Scripture interpretation, which unfortunately led to erroneous and novel conclusions that still impact Western Christian theology.
