Week One of the 2026 NFL season is in the books — and there is already plenty to overreact to.

Dave and Ollie break down the biggest stories from the opening weekend, including an impressive start for the New York Giants, whether the Kansas City Chiefs are starting to look like the Chiefs of old, and a statement opening week from the Chicago Bears.

But the biggest questions might be in Los Angeles. After another hugely disappointing Chargers result, how long can the blame keep falling everywhere except on Justin Herbert? Is this simply what the Chargers are?

We also look across the rest of Week One, discuss the teams that impressed and disappointed us, and pick out what we're watching heading into Week Two.

On the show:

  • Are the Giants actually good?
  • The Chiefs look dangerous again
  • Why Dave isn't buying the Broncos hype
  • Da Bears!
  • The Chargers' disastrous start
  • Does Justin Herbert deserve more criticism?
  • The biggest winners and losers from Week One
  • Looking ahead to Week Two
