This weekend's Major League Baseball draft provided two issues for Mississippi State, wanting to see their current players get drafted while getting as many members of their highly rated recruiting class on to campus. It was mission accomplished for Brian O'Connor, who saw five of his top eight prospects avoid being selected while getting to congratulate Ace Reese on becoming the latest Diamond Dawg to go in the first round.
