BREAKING UPDATE: The David Prevatte murder trial has ended in a mistrial after allegations of juror misconduct disrupted deliberations.
The day began with the judge investigating Juror Number Three over claims that she brought outside information into the jury room. She was ultimately removed, but as questioning of the remaining panel continued, additional concerns surfaced about information being discussed that had never been introduced as evidence. The judge ultimately determined the case could not continue with the jury and declared a mistrial.
