Today marks the 25th anniversary of one of the darkest days in American history.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked some airplanes and crashed them in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Nearly 3,000 innocent people lost their lives that day in those attacks.

Many people remember that day very clearly. It’s one of those times where you recall exactly where you were when you first heard the news, and as the events unfolded throughout that morning.

Here on the podcast, every year in September we dedicate an episode to the memory of 9/11. We hear someone tell their story of what they experienced on that day. The past episodes have featured guests who were in New York City.

For a long time, I’ve wanted to have a guest on who was at the Pentagon on September 11. Those stories are not as easy to find. Earlier this year, Felicia contacted me to tell me about her experience at the Pentagon, and I’m pleased to bring that to you today.

May we never forget.
