Ret. LTG shares his perspective on Leadership and Skills Development

Insights:
-Always look up one or two levels - much to be gained
-Learn to Delegate 
-Take advantage of Professional Development offered by the Army as well as secure certifications and other learning courses where you can
-If you want references from within the Military, reach out to them well before you transition out and offer a draft letter which they can edit.
-Spend the time to review performance reports with subordinates
