Bonus - eBay Secretly Tested a 5% Minimum on Promoted Listings | Pure Hustle Reseller Rants Ep. 1

eBay secretly ran a promoted listings test in early October: sellers who usually promote at 2% to 3% got an error forcing at least 5%, and eBay only called it a test days later. Here's what else we cover.   This is the first episode of Reseller Rants, a new, shorter format from Pure Hustle Podcast. We cover a suspicious online estate auction where the best of 100+ leather bound books may have been pulled before the sale, Texas taxing sellers on platform fees (eBay didn't tell sellers, and the tax is expected to stop in November with no refunds on what was already paid), the $50 USPS fee for hazmat or battery labels left on reused boxes, and changes to Poshmark shipping fees.   Have you been hit with extra fees? Tell us in the comments.   Subscribe to Pure Hustle Podcast for more reselling news and rants.
