Can You Hold What You’re Asking For? Money, Love, Time & the Capacity to Live an Extraordinary Life with Marla Mattenson

Dela

We're back! It's been a couple of months since I put out an episode, and I wanted to come back with a conversation that actually earned the wait.

What does a woman who charges $250,000 to work with her actually know about receiving an extraordinary life?

Turns out it's not about having the answers. It's about how much life you can actually let yourself hold.

Marla is my friend, and an ultra-high-end life and business coach. But this isn't a conversation about pricing. It's about what it actually takes, internally and energetically, to receive more. More money. More visibility. More truth. More love.

Wanting more and being able to receive more are not the same thing. You can ask for wealth and find out what receiving it brings up in you. Ask for love and find the exact place intimacy threatens your defenses. Ask for impact and find out what happens when you're misunderstood.

What Marla shares isn't what you'd expect. Yes, there's real beauty in it, real abundance. There's also a woman telling you about a time she collapsed into a fetal position. Crying. Going into a freeze so complete she lost her words. She asked her most successful former clients, point blank, what hadn't worked between them. One told her she'd felt transactional instead of human. It hit her hard. She had to sit with that recording more than once before she could really take it in.

This is leadership without the performance of certainty. The willingness to see your own distortion, stay with what it reveals, and let it change you.

An extraordinary life doesn't mean you stop contracting. It means you stop staying gone so long.

Here's what we get into:

  • Her foundation: years of Vipassana, a mentor relationship that broke open her financial set points, and study with Paul Selig and the Melchizedek Guides
  • "What's your warp?" — the distortion each of us looks through, and why the goal is recognizing it, not eliminating it
  • What you damn, damns you back. What you bless, blesses you back
  • All feedback is love, and the practice she built to actually receive it
  • Why she and her partner Julian live by a "no blades" rule
  • Being unreasonable on purpose: how Marla thinks about pricing, worth, and the upper limits most of us don't even know we're bumping against
  • What gets more valuable, not less, as AI reshapes business: intuition, discernment, staying in relationship with yourself when it's uncomfortable

Her closing words to you, whoever you are, wherever you're listening: you're doing it perfectly.

If this leaves you wondering where unconscious patterns are getting in your way, Marla built a free 8-question quiz to name your biggest block in money, love, or time, and what to do about it. Start at BeaconsGlobal.com. You'll get first access to her masterclass this September.
