What if your gratitude practice began with one small thing that is working?
Reverend Cynthia Alice Anderson explores why she calls gratitude “the great multiplier”—and how actively acknowledging goodness can change the way we experience our lives.
In this conversation with producer Shawn Kilgore, Cynthia Alice shares the gratitude practice her mother brought to every run, from her first races to a marathon at age 70. She also reflects on how gratitude helped her navigate grief, a relationship ending, and a major ministry transition.
Drawing on scripture and her book Prosperity for You, she offers simple ways to bring thanksgiving into everyday life: notice what is working, thank people directly, and begin and end the day by acknowledging something good.
This week’s This Week for the Soul opens with “The World We Share,” a reflection on curiosity, connection, and our wider human family.
