A time-limited percentage-off code is a proven promotion, but it isn't your only option. Some suppliers don't allow discounts, and some customers respond better to a different kind of offer.

In this episode, Anton covers several "monetary" promotions you can rotate through your high-ticket dropshipping store. Each one gives shoppers a reason to buy now instead of leaving for a competitor.

In this episode:

  • Why deadlines matter: Percent-off codes work best when they expire, ideally within three days.
  • Spend X, Save X: Use a dollar-amount discount on orders over a set value to raise your average order value. For example, $100 off orders over $1,000 can protect more profit than a flat 10% off.
  • Buy One, Get One Free: How this works for products in the $200–$300 range when you work out holiday wholesale pricing with a supplier ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
  • Free expedited shipping: A strong option when your supplier doesn't allow any discounts.
  • Free white glove delivery: Helps you stand out and close sales on $10K+ premium items.
  • Free extended warranties: How to get the cost from your supplier, then run it as a promotion to test whether it pays off.

Anton also explains why it's worth running these as short promo windows (about 3–5 days, once a month) and letting your conversion data show you which offers your audience responds to.
