Wolverhampton-based music producer Kulstarr is set to launch his new independent label, Live Proud Records, with its first official release, "Reckonize", featuring Ajaypal Aulakh, on 10 July 2026.
More than just a new single, Reckonize marks the beginning of a long-term vision to create a platform for original music, authentic storytelling and emerging talent across the UK Punjabi music scene and beyond.
Accompanied by a cinematic visual, Reckonize draws inspiration from a defining chapter in Kulstarr's life. Set against the backdrop of lockdown, the project reflects a period that reshaped his creative direction and laid the foundations for what would eventually become Live Proud Records. Speaking about the release, Kulstarr said:
"Live Proud Records has been years in the making. This isn't about chasing trends or overnight success. It's about creating music that means something, building opportunities for artists and staying true to the vision. 'Reckonize' is the first chapter, and there's much more to come."
Having spent years working across music production, recording, mixing and visual storytelling, Kulstarr sees Live Proud Records as the next step in bringing music, visuals and artist development together under one banner.
Following the release of Reckonize, Live Proud Records plans to unveil a series of original projects, alongside future collaborations, live performances and new releases.
Reckonize by Kulstarr featuring Ajaypal Aulakh will be available on all major streaming platforms from 10 July 2026.
