The Lost History of Disney World ft. The Dapper Danielle

A boat disappears from the Polynesian. Old attractions leave little reminders behind. And there’s one Disney story Dapper Danielle particularly wanted to be true.

Today, Danielle Kelly joins us to talk about her new book, The Lost History of Walt Disney World and the discoveries she made while writing it.

In this episode:

• The search for a boat that vanished from Disney’s Polynesian Resort
• The surviving details and abandoned plans hidden around Walt Disney World
• How Danielle separates cast-member lore from documented history
• The story she wanted to be true
• Backstage memories from Magic Kingdom and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
• How videos for coworkers became the Dapper Danielle and a series of Disney books
