TMHS Episode 41 - Freddy G - The Mary Houlihan Show | Lyssna här

Freddy G is a Jewish comedian born and raised in Brooklyn, known for his trademark orange beard and his videos skewering Zionist propaganda.

Some of my favorite videos of Freddy’s are his sketches with Palestinian-American comedian Sharif Hasan. The pair use slapstick humor to depict themes as serious as settlement expansion, as Freddy moves into Sharif’s apartment, quickly taking more and more square footage, and preventing him from protesting.

Recently, Freddy and Sharif used their act to bring light to US weapons getting shipped to Israel out of JFK and Newark airports.

If you would like to learn more about arms shipping out of New York area ports, and how to stop them, check out Break The Chain. Labor stoppages have prevented arms shipments from other countries, and we can do them here too! If you can’t attend a Break The Chain meeting, please consider talking about an arms embargo with some friends. You never know who may be able to help.

Freddy’s videos are a bright light to people frustrated that American media doesn’t want to talk about the genocide, because talking about it of course is necessary to stop it. I have loved getting to know Freddy more, traveling to Cuba together, and I look forward to whatever he makes next.
