Ken Wharfe MVO was Personal Protection Officer to Princess Diana and her two sons for five years, becoming a close personal friend and confidante. After his retirement in 2002 he wrote the New York Times bestseller 'Diana: Closely Guarded Secret' and later 'Guarding Diana: protecting the Princess around the world'.
