Keith Kahn-Harris is a British sociologist and music critic. He is an honorary research fellow and senior lecturer at Birkbeck College.

Keith graduated with MA and PhD degrees from Goldsmiths University of London and has since published academic and non-academic articles on Judaism music scenes, heavy metal music, transgression, Israel, communities, dialogue, religion, ethnicity, political discourse, and denial.

A writer and sociologist. Keith has been published in both academic and non-academic publications, and the author and co-author of 9 books.

Keith is also a freelance writer for publications including The guardian, New Humanist, Prospect, Haaretz, The Forward, New Statesmen and more including his newest book:
