What do you do when Jesus doesn’t show up when you thought He would?

In John 11, Mary and Martha send word to Jesus that Lazarus is sick. They know He can heal. They know He loves them. But instead of rushing to Bethany, Jesus waits.

That delay raises a question most of us have faced in one way or another: Where is God when the thing we prayed against still happens?

In this message, we look at one of Jesus’ most powerful miracles and the claim at the center of it: “I am the resurrection and the life.” This story is about more than Lazarus walking out of a tomb. It’s about the hope Jesus brings into our grief, our uncertainty, our waiting, and even death itself.
