The Arena- 1929-1999

The Arena on St. Louis’ Oakland Avenue was a special place, and the original home of the St. Louis Blues. Of course, it hosted much more than professional hockey. It was “the old barn” to many. And the nickname had a reason behind it. We remember the St. Louis Arena…and tell some stories about it…from its beginning to its end.
