Prison planet theory, reincarnation, the Matrix, the demiurge, soul retrieval, and the astral realms collide in this episode as Michael Lee, a PhD scientist (computational chemistry and machine learning) who does soul retrievals out of body, shares what he says he has learned about who runs this place. He says he heard "the architect" through electronic communication with spirits, and that this figure doesn't want us fully aware that we're here. He gives his "best theory," which he stresses is only a theory, that the architect is the demiurge of Gnostic literature and must recruit souls to keep the system running. He says the prison planet theory and the school theory can both be true, estimates he has lived 50 to 80 lifetimes on Earth, and says revenge and guilt keep us coming back.
This isn't a guided meditation. This is a working scientist who says he has gone into the lower astral to help stuck spirits move on, got trapped there himself, and learned how narcissistic souls sell a fake heaven.
