On today’s episode we discuss the state of good old fashioned tape storage in 2018 with long time industry veteran Matt Starr. Matt’s been at tape giant Spectra Logic for 24 years where he’s seen a great many trends come and go as CTO. Among other things at Spectra he’s served as the lead engineering architect for the design and production of Spectra’s TSeries tape library family, which is still a core product.
