After 14 album-less years that felt like forever, The All-American Rejects are back in full force. Their brand-new record “Sandbox” shines with a sun-drenched surf-rock vibe and tells the story of a band growing up – the same band that crashed into our hearts in the 2000s with cheeky pop-punk anthems.

In our interview, guitarist Nick Wheeler reveals just how grown-up the band really is now, what finally pushed them back into the studio after more than a decade, and whether we might even get to look forward to a house party with The All-American Rejects in our own neighborhood sometime soon.
