The Buffalo Bills may have been on their bye week, but there's no shortage of things to talk about! Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens for a spirited, hilarious, and occasionally off-the-rails episode of Talking Buffalo.
Despite the Bills sitting at 5-1, frustration with general manager Brandon Beane continues to grow. Patrick and Joe examine Buffalo's struggling defense, questionable offseason moves, the pressure on defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, and why the upcoming NFL trade deadline could be one of the most important of Beane's career.
They also discuss the increasingly hostile rivalry between Bills and Ravens fans, Josh Allen versus Lamar Jackson, and the controversy surrounding Sam Franklin's overturned suspension.
On the hockey side, the guys turn their attention to the Buffalo Sabres, where fan frustration with Jarmo Kekäläinen is mounting despite last season's playoff breakthrough. Have the Sabres done enough to build on their success?
Of course, this wouldn't be a Patrick and Joe episode without plenty of laughs, arguments, and ridiculous tangents. There's an extended Costco discussion, behind-the-scenes stories about Patrick's Fingers & Fries reviews, and conversation about the Bills Mafia documentary.
Plus, Patrick previews Thursday's live Talking Buffalo podcast at 290 Slide Sports Bar & Grille with special guest Matt Parrino.
