One day, your teenager gets to decide how much of their life you're part of.

That can feel terrifying, especially when they're already pulling away, talking less, or becoming more independent.

But staying close to your teenager isn't about holding on tighter. In this episode, I'm sharing what raising four teenagers has taught me about letting go without losing the relationship, why independence doesn't mean they need you less, and what we can do now to build the kind of relationship they'll want to carry into adulthood.

We'll talk about the difference between being involved and being available, why trying harder to stay close can sometimes create more distance, and how to keep the bridge between you strong as your role begins to change.

Because the goal isn't to raise a teenager who has to include you.

It's to build a relationship they keep choosing when they no longer have to.
