Why is it always that when a man acts shitty, it becomes a woman’s job to fix it? And we get the added bonus of being called “too sensitive” or a nag when we do! In case you missed it, comedian Shane Gillis (though he’s not really funny enough to be called a comedian) recently made a “joke” about women being “whores” for wearing shorts to the gym. Plenty of women took the time to explain why that comment perpetuates rape culture, and men everywhere blamed all of us for not being able to “take a joke.” Insert eye roll here. For too damn long, it’s been though to be a woman’s job to “fix” men, but they seem hesitant to it and we only get shamed more for trying. We’re over it.
