Giannis Antetokounmpo, two-time MVP, acquired by the Miami Heat

The Miami Heat got their whale, just before midnight prior to the NBA Draft. Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes the latest all-time great to join the Heat during the Pat Riley era, acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr,, Kasparas Jakucionis, the 13th pick in the 2026 and other compensation -- with Bobby Portis coming back with Giannis. Ethan Skolnick and Brady Hawk went live shortly after the deal was done.
