We are so grateful to have had Sara Norrbom as our guest on today’s podcast episode! Together with Susanna Moen, Sara founded Womensync, one of Sweden’s largest communities dedicated to female health and hormonal well-being.
Today, Womensync offers a range of products, including creatine, electrolytes, skincare and supplements and has also published a book. But it all started with an idea.
Sara and Susanna, who have been best friends since high school, wanted to make knowledge about female health and hormones more accessible. Having gone through their own journeys of understanding their bodies and improving their well-being, they realised there was a lack of accessible information in this area. They wanted to change that by creating a space where women could learn more about their bodies and gain a better understanding of their health.
What started as an idea between two best friends has since grown into a thriving community and a successful, growing business.
In today’s episode we talk about:
Going from an idea to building a successful business
What it’s like working with your best friend
How to adapt your business when becoming a mother (something Sara and Susanna experienced at the same time)
How Sara learned to listen to herself and let go of being a “good girl”
The book that changed Sara’s life
Her favourite affirmation
