🎙️ Welcome back to the award-winning The Scarf Bergara Wore – the original Stockport County fan podcast! 🔵⚪️
Russ and Waggie and Edgeley Con Club Coaches Extraordinaire Steve (Scouse) are your panel for this week.
4 wins in a row, while actually winning 5 from 6 in all competitions and only conceding 1 goal in that time, are we now in our rhythm and how long will it last.
We delve into the comfortable 2-0 win over Doncaster on Tuesday night, how we controlled the game and looked like the home side for large spells. Did we have gears to go through? We discuss the 2 main controversial incidents around Jobe's apparent stamp on McCann's lad and also Donny's Broadbent's tackle with intent on Glover who jumped the tackle (fortunately) should either or both of been red cards?
We look forward to the next 2 tough away fixtures at Notts and Oxford, will the run continue, how many points do we think we can take from them and where do we think we are at this stage of the season.
As always, there was plenty more to get into, with County chat, opinions and your thoughts on what's happening at Edgeley Park.
Yes we have ditched Rivals for a brand new quiz: 13 Men and a dog (working title) this is TSBW's take on a County Themed Mastermind. Waggie takes on the role as the new Maurice McSquirter (needs a lot of practice) and gets to put Steve's County General knowledge against the clock for 2 Mins and 3 Seconds (If you know, you know!) Russ is the timekeeper and we will have a fan guest table to find the TSBW Mastermind at the end of the season. Steve is unsurprisingly at the top of the table after 1 week, can he stay there, we will see next week.
For County fans, by County fans. 🔵⚪️
