On this episode of Behind the Pages, we speak with Anne Corwith about the factors that contribute to young mothers' and pregnant adolescent girls' resilience and motivation to return to school in Maiwut Town, South Sudan, including their aspiration for financial freedom and having women role models. 

Anne Corwith and Fatimah Ali are the authors of the research article, "The 2020 Pandemic in South Sudan: An Exploration of Teenage Mothers' and Pregnant Adolescent Girls' Resilience and Educational Continuity," which was published in JEiE Vol. 8, No. 3 – Special Issue on Education in Pandemics (December 2022).
