English cricket can't get enough of New Zealand coaches.
Former Black Cap Stephen Fleming has been confirmed as the country's new test mentor, replacing former teammate Brendon McCullum.
Cricket writer Cameron Ponsonby told Piney while they’ve gotten used to having the big kind of celebrity personality of McCullum over the last few years, it seems as though everyone wants things to calm down a bit.
“It feels like an adult’s been hired.”
He says it helps that the two know each other, as it feels like the ex-girlfriend is still in the room, with McCullum coaching the white-ball squad.
