Another week sans new Star Wars comics. It's going to be like that for the next few weeks, as the flood that we once had narrows to a trickle. Will it always be like that? We don't think so, but as the year advances and we get clarity on plans for 2027, that can change.

News:

  • There's no official word yet, but it's appearing that Mad Cave Studios does now have the all-ages license for Star Wars comics. We'll add more detail as we can confirm.
  • Speaking of Mad Cave, its SDCC-exclusive variant covers by Michael Walsh for The Mandalorian & Grogu -- Danger in the Dark #1 are available for sale on its website.
  • Check out the Facebook page and Bluesky feed for a massive preview of Taschen's Star Wars Comics Library, Vol. 1 (1977-1979) collecting Star Wars (Vol. 1) 1-23. This is due out in the UK and EU on Aug. 5 and the US on Oct. 9. (Those dates might change, but not by much.)
