The poet Charles Bukowski was a controversial figure that the great Taoist sage Zhuangzi would have applauded for his authenticity and for having the courage to live life on his own terms. He was uncompromising, politically incorrect, humorous, and, most importantly, had a brilliant mind that could openly and honestly see his own pitfalls and struggles and, in doing so, see the same in others, giving them spiritual oxygen to contemplate their own position in life.
