A young boy visits the Temple of God in Bethel, little knowing that it is doomed to be destroyed within a few years.

Based on the story of the foundation of the temple at Bethel in 1 Kings 12:25-33, and on the story of the golden calf at Mount Sinai in Exodus 31:18-32:24.
