Some conversations start with a bike and end somewhere else entirely. This is one of them.

Adam Wilkoszarski is a photographer from Poznań, Poland, who rediscovered cycling as therapy and never really looked back. In March 2026 he cycled 1100 kilometres through Poland, Czechia and Germany to Zurich — in winter, mostly alone, sleeping in temperatures around zero. He arrived two days early. The bike, he said, was a rocket.

This guest episode was produced by Pascal Pensa and recorded at the MONoPOLE store in Zurich, off the back of Tool Talk #2 — an evening built around bikes, gear and the stories that happen when you leave the city behind.
