Episode 413- Check out the video podcast on Board Game Snobs on YouTube
The Snobs are back from Dice Tower Retreat and sit down to talk about their favorite games and experiences from the convention. They cover games like Drillers, DeWan, Decko, Orbit, Ostia, The Iliad, Rock Hard 1977, and Imperial 2030, while also spending plenty of time getting sidetracked by everything from whales and catfish to clapping, facepalms, ponchos, questionable food choices, and the usual disagreements between Jerry, Enrique, and Gaby. There’s some actual board game discussion in here, including thoughts on game design, theme, production, teaching rules, and what makes a game memorable, but the real focus is the conversation between friends. If you enjoy humorous board game podcasts, tabletop gaming, convention stories, and personality-driven discussions that don’t take themselves too seriously, this episode of The Snobs is a good one to have on while you hang out. Huge shoutouts to everyone we gamed with at the retreat — especially Bruce, Chris Rayment, Jason Matthews, and the whole Dice Tower crew. We’re heading to BGG Spring in May — hope to see some of you there! If you enjoyed the episode, drop a like, leave a comment with your favorite game from the list, and subscribe so you don’t miss future episodes. Thanks for watching / listening!
