On this show, we usually focus on structural resilience- but what about the resilience of our personal wellbeing?
This year, the University of Georgia opened our brand new School of Medicine, and some of the experts joining the School's Office of Personalized Health and Well-being joined us to talk about resilience in a different light: stronger, more strategic medical education starting with better care for human wellbeing.
To medical educators, resilience is about understanding what wellbeing means on an individual level, and taking simple, science-backed steps to build lasting, positive behavior in new generations of doctors.
This episode, forget physical infrastructure- we're talking about building resilience in your brain, the science of looking on the bright side, and of course, why doctors should take improv classes.
