Founded in 2016, Chetana derives from a Sanskrit word meaning “consciousness”, which is the core value of the organization . With 300+ active volunteers and a youth chapter, Chetana supports education programs, hunger relief, environmental conservation, and empowerment programs both in the local community of Greater Portland and also abroad.
