We’re heading back into the parks for another round of Disney dining, and we’ve got some catching up to do! After a week at Walt Disney World that included Lou Mongello’s Momentum conference, we’re sharing more bites from the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, a bonus coffee break, and a sweet finish at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We start with festival offerings that arrived after opening weekend, including crab and corn macaroni and cheese from The Wedge, bo ssam pork belly lettuce wraps, and a pumpkin cheesecake mousse trifle from Festival Favorites. We’re digging into the flavors, textures, portions, and value to help you build your festival food list.
This episode also includes a stop at The Alps for tartiflette, with potatoes, cheese, and bacon, before heading to Earth Eats for lemon almond olive oil cake with whipped Greek yogurt panna cotta. Along the way, we discover which dishes deliver big flavors and which treats offer a refreshing break between richer bites.
Our tasting adventure continues with a selection of cheeses, a cannoli milkshake, and a warm raclette Swiss cheese baguette with ham and apple mustard relish. We’ve got plenty to say about creamy cheese, crunchy accompaniments, and whether that mustard deserves a starring role.
Of course, we make room for an affogato in the Italy pavilion. We’re talking espresso poured over vanilla gelato, because combining coffee and dessert feels like excellent park planning.
Then we head to Terra Treats in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the Boneyard Cookies and Scream Sundae and the Fall Ice Cream Cookie Dough Sandwich. We’re digging into cookies and cream, edible cookie dough, a crunchy waffle bowl, and plenty of sprinkles.
