On today's REX Daily Podcast, Dom talks with Grant Lightfoot, founder and inventor of Kiwi Econet, the world's first edible, natural fibre bale netting. They discuss his original idea for the product, the reaction of farmers from NZ and overseas and his other occupations, including farming, hunting, commercial diving, logging and working on oil rigs... And he talks with Richard Scholefield, Chair of the Eastern North Island Beef + Lamb NZ Farmer Council, about the role of the council, his time chairing the Roundtable for Sustainable Beef and where he sees the future opportunities for NZ beef farmers.
