Chief Stoney Mathis is a respected law enforcement leader with over 34 years of experience across Georgia police departments. Chief Mathis began his career as a patrol officer with the Monroe Police Department before rising through the ranks at Henry County Police Department. He later served as Chief of Police in Chattahoochee Hills, where he emphasized listening and relationship-building, and in Fairburn, where he achieved a remarkable 52% reduction in crime, helping transform the city into one of Georgia’s safest.
